The Launch - Saturday 30th Oct 2010

launch guitarThe Launch - Saturday 30th Oct 2010 saw the launch of SOUNDING BOARD music and technology project in the Clarence Hotel, Sligo town. Young people and leaders were bussed in from rural Sligo and Fermanagh to take part in a day long workshop of music,dj, vj, beat box, rap, sampling and mural painting.

Participants got a taste of how to use the equipment and instruments, as well as meet some new faces. Understanding that the Launch was a chance to taste activities, feedback from the group was positive and it was obvious that the participants were interested to learn more. The Launch gave the organisers a sense of what activities young people are keen to take part in, what was missing from the day and what the next stage of the project should be.

Our projects & hubs included:

Cultural Day Trips
